+ singapore zoological gardens +(Note: this entry was supposed to be up on wednesday. apologies for being late.)
Can't remember when exactly was the last time you visited the zoo? Well neither could I.
Modes of transportation, 5. The fifth being walking on your own legs.
Disclaimer: No animals were beheaded in the making of this sign.
We caught the first show.
Flamingo 1: Hmm, I could've sworn there's an imposter among us..
Flamingo 2: Don't be silly, just keep drinking.
This picture is solely for Lin JunJie fans.
Peacocks only open up when they want to impress a female specie.
Barbary sheep: Darn, what's the weird smell up my arse?
Elephant 1: Whee, this log is fun!!
Elephant 2: Yea, whatever, you dork.
The black little primate that was stealing attention from the elephant enclosure.
Rudolph off-duty.
And yes, it's man made.
Can't remember what these furballs are called, but they sure like to cuddle around. Er, maybe they're called 'rugby mice'?
Miss Diana Ross was happy to see so many people still liked her music.
Cute. And the small children just hangs on to mama.
It was raining, so we had to buy ponchos. Please do not be mistaken, we did not purposely want to look like ducklings.
Sheba, 30 and Inuka, 16. Time to study for your 'O's, Inuka!
Yes, that's something I never knew too.
The giraffe was kinda sulky cos he was short for his specie, like I am compared to mine.
White Tiger, pussyfied. Oh by the way, there are NO tigers in Africa.
Again, forgot the name to this glowing, chicken-ish creature.
Snakes gives me the creeps.
And introducing, the Ostrich, king of eggs!
Was this a mutt or a fox? Can't quite remember, but he sure is handsome. And quirky, cos he walks round and round in circles, then poses for 5 seconds.
Last picture, the prairie dog. If you want to see a little dance the furball does, email me.
That was it. First visit to the zoo in 10 years. For those now interested to relive their childhood, you can do so pay getting ready $15, finding a day with good sunny weather and taking 927 from Choa Chu Kang or 138 from Ang Mo Kio.
