Best: Panasonic Lumix FX-9

6 megapixels, 2.5" high resolution display, good image quality, image stabiliser chip, good looks. Battery life is however slightly down from FX8
Design: Sony Cybershot T7 / T9


Prosumer Cameras
Best: Canon Powershot S80

Compact for it's class and features, this 8 megapixel shooter takes great photographs.
Design / Interesting: Panasonic LX-1

First 16:9 wide aspect ratio consumer camera in the world. 8.4 megapixels and full manual mode. Noise in pictures is a slight problem though.

Megazoom Cameras
Best: Canon Powershot S2 IS

12x optical zoom, image stabiliser, video with zoom, great quality pictures and relatively stylish.
Design: Panasonic Lumix FZ-5

Class competitive photos, good features, metallic-ish plastic body, smallest in megazoom class.
