I've always been a more pop and R&B kinda person, but classical pop has been slowly growing on me. Vanessa Mae, Bond and Josh Groban attracted me to this genre. Granted, some may not like the way classical music is being remade for the newer pop-induced generation, but this fusion does it alot more appreciable for them.

Im alot more receptive to jazz now too, thanks to Michael Buble and Ian Cullum. And it's quite true that jazz is a very good match with gloomy weather or late nights. It's just a feeling. Light jazz music, a dark room with soft candle light and heavy rain outside the window; a perfect lazy Sunday afternoon. Best if hugging a bolster while enjoying the moment.

Heh, I feel I'm getting just a little more sophisticated. In terms of appreciation of music, that is.
