Creating controversy, spanning various versions of 'Cracking the Code' books, and spending a year in best-sellers lists are some things Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code have achieved. Apparently it's not over yet.

Next summer, the big-screen version of The Da Vinci Code will hit theatres. The main cast list has been confirmed to be Tom Hanks (The Terminal, Catch Me If You Can, Cast Away), Audrey Tautou (Amelie), Jean Reno (Ronin) and Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings). Oscar-winning director Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind) will helm the film. It is slated to reach US theatres on 19 May 2006.
